Whats the big deal about LOSS anyway? I'm buying a high DB Gain Antenna!
If you think that simply buying a cheap 9 to 16 DB gain antenna is good enough to guarantee a strong wireless signal think again! Your antenna and cable is a system. Paring your antenna with wimpy cheap cable can result in more loss than your antenna gains.
This is especially important in extending your existing router, card, or USB adapter antenna. With the wrong cable you will loose more than your antenna gains and go nowhere.

Cable should be in "like new" condition, teeth marks/burns/slices etc. are not acceptable. Please don't run it up a tower and scrape/fray it then change your mind. Run all tests while still coiled.
If we have installed custom non-stock connectors we will not refund the price of the new connector we installed for you.
If you have installed custom connectors we will not refund what you paid for them.
When we refund your shipping - You will recieve Only As Much as it cost us to mail the cable to you. If we paid $11 for a flat rate box DON'T pay $30 to ship it back and expect to be refunded the whole amount. Just ask us and we will tell you the best way to return it.

Straight or Reverse Polarity - Big Difference !
At one time all connectors were straight. Boys were boys and Girls were girls then along came the Government...
In order to regulate WiFi and try to create connectors specialized for it's use we have the FCC and the wonderful concept of RP (Reverse Polarity). Now we have Females with Male Pins and Males with Female innards. See the picture above of SMAs, but TNCs, BNCs, Ns and others can all be Straight or RP depending on their use. The Times Microwave LMR® standard is a UV Resistant Polyethylene jacketed cable designed for 20-year service outdoor use. The bending and handling characteristics are significantly better than air-dielectric and corrugated hard-line cables.
• Flexibility and bend-ability are hallmarks of the LMR-400 cable design. The flexible outer conductor enables the tightest bend radius available for any cable of similar size and performance.
• Low Loss is another hallmark feature of LMR-400. Size for size LMR has the lowest loss of any flexible cable and comparable loss to semi-rigid hard-line cables.
• RF Shielding is 50 dB greater than typical single shielded coax (40 dB). The multiply bonded foil outer conductor is rated conservatively at > 90 dB (i.e. >180 dB between two adjacent cables).
• Weather ability: LMR-400 cables designed for outdoor exposure incorporate the best materials for UV resistance and have life expectancy in excess of 20 years.
• Connectors : A wide variety of connectors are available for LMR-400 cable, including all common interface types, reverse polarity, and a choice of solder or non-solder center pins. Most LMR connectors employ crimp outer attachment using standard hex crimp sizes.

Attention : There are many Chinese companies quoting the same specs as Times Microwave and Andrew / Commscope Coaxial cable.
There are some issues with this:
Cheaper grades of cable may Start with the same loss but quickly degrade over time with significant signal loss. The Inner foil layer below the braided shield is bonded to the foam dielectric in a patented process that prevents signal leakage and moisture infiltration Only on US Made Times Microwave Coaxial Cable. True Mil Spec testing criteria is not followed by many Chinese offshore producers and when retested by UL cable has repeatedly failed to pass muster. When subjected to standardized quality testing - Jacket materials, Copper alloys, and Dielectric Foam have been found to be adulterated and containing contaminants.
While there are quality Coaxial Cable producers in China and other offshore locations they mainly produce cable for major brand name retailers who provide their own quality control, and do not sell off cable under "generic" or offbrand names.
